Document Control Specialist Position

Ultimate Staffing Services is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join their client's team in California. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an organized environment and enjoys managing both physical and digital documentation. The Document Control Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that all documents are accurately managed and stored, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and compliance with internal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and organize physical personnel files
  • Scan and digitize documents using designated scanning equipment
  • Accurately label and rename files following internal guidelines
  • Upload and organize digital files within OneDrive
  • Ensure all documents are properly categorized and easily searchable
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Assist with shredding and recycling outdated materials
  • Follow established processes for document management and quality control

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in administrative support, records management, or filing
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with document scanning and digitization preferred
  • Comfortable working with both physical and digital file systems
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, file naming, folder organization)
  • Ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks efficiently

Requirements

The position requires availability from Monday through Friday.
